Business Development Manager (MNOs/ 3GPP)
Business Development Manager required with a very strong technical grounding in wireless systems / 3GPP i.e. 3G, HSPA, LTE, GSM etc. Ideally you will be based in South UK.
You will report to the CEO and be responsible for developing relationships with MNOs on a global basis. My client is devloping a cloud based SaaS offering that offer MNOs significant costs benefits in IoT scalability. In this role you will develop key relationships and sales plans, fully understanding both the technical and commercial requirements of the MNOs, You will lead the responses to RFQs as appropriate, and be the key contact point between my client and the end customer.
Candidates interested in this role should have the following skills and expertise:
-Degree qualified in Electronics, Computer Science or similar technical discipline
-Very strong cellular background in wireless systems i.e. 3GPP systems, CDMA, GSM, LTE, 3G, HSPA etc
-Proven track record in selling technology based solutions
-Ideally some experience of M2M or IoT based technologies
-Self-starter, with a hands-on attitude to work
This is a global position and will require c20-30% travel.
