As the primary coordinator of the sales process related to security and infrastructure solution sales activities, the Solution Sales Specialist is responsible for initiating the sales effort, managing sales team activities, securing and supporting executive communication, developing the appropriate technical, business process, business value messaging, and securing each sale with the appropriate contracts and agreements. Key decisions made by the SSP are focused on the individual sales opportunities and how these opportunities are executed

The SSP will need to be able to successfully work in a matrix organization, as well as enable and rely on targeted partners to provide expertise and resources to execute the sales process and to ensure successful deployment. Furthermore, a SSP is a senior sales executive who possesses excellent organizational, communication and proven selling skills in security and infrastructure software and solutions.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales via channel sales
Identification, qualification and execution of individual sales opportunities
Build and manage a sales pipeline working together with partners
Manage complex sales processes according to Secunia Selling Process, detailed opportunity qualification and forecasting is required
Perform skills transfer for partners, provide input and feedback from field and partners to the marketing and product development process
Identify key trends & drive necessary improvements in sales & product to capitalize on opportunities
Drive deployment of solutions to achieve customer satisfaction / case studies for future sales
Develop in-depth understanding of their products and the value they bring in solving business and technical problems
Develop and maintain competitive analysis including white papers, solution briefs, application notes, and presentations
Work together with Inside Sales Executives and Regional Directors on incoming leads/pipeline and support throughout sales cycle
Support channel partners including opportunity follow up
Assist marketing activities as required
Work together with the regional team and partners on re-activating former customers
Hold product demonstrations via webinar and in person for prospects
Ensure all opportunities show the correct amount and close date
Provide customer service as and when needed to System Integrators and VARs
Provide quotes to prospects
Review and approve discount and credit note requests as appropriate
Identify System Integrators and VARs, recruit and manage via distribution
Quarterly review of Go-to-market strategy plan execution
Identify and attend relevant regional events
Direct deal involvement where needed to support channel

The qualifications required for the position requires someone who is a strong professional communicator in both written and verbal aspects. To effectively execute the security and infrastructure solutions sales process, this individual is required to have a history of successful sales performance, understanding sales methodologies, pipeline and forecast execution, sales management, virtual sales coordination and negotiation. A highly developed ability to qualify opportunities and decision makers is required and must be demonstrated across multiple dimensions. In-depth knowledge of competitors in software and professional services
